Silicon Metal
Silicon metal is used in the aluminum industry as an alloying element commonly referred to as a hardener. It is also used in the chemical industry as the primary raw material for the production of silicones. Silicon metal is also used in the semiconductor and photovoltaic industries for the production of computer chips and solar cells.

Magnesium
Magnesium is used by the aluminum industry as an alloying element for the production of beverage cans and automotive parts. It is also used by the iron foundry industry in the production of ductile iron and by the steel industry as a desulfurizer.

Magnesium Alloys
Magnesium alloys are used by the die-casting industry in the production of thin wall parts. In addition, Magnesium alloys are used in the aluminum industry to produce aluminum alloys used in the transportation, packaging, construction and electronics industries.

75% Ferro Silicon
75% FeSi is used as a deoxidant and an alloying element in the production of steel and cast iron. High purity 75% Ferro Silicon is used to produce specialty and grain-oriented electrical steels.

Calcium Silicon
CaSi is used by the steel industry for deoxidation, desulfurization, and for inclusion shape control, which prevents nozzle clogging during casting. It is also used as a dry mold spray in the production of seamless cast iron pipe by the foundry industry.

Cored Wire
Cored Wire, a steel tube filled with alloy powder, is used by the steel and iron foundry industries as a more efficient method to introduce alloying elements into their metals.

Magnesium Ferrosilicon
MgFeSi is used by the foundry industry in the production of ductile iron. It promotes the formation of graphite nodules, which enhance the mechanical properties of the cast parts.

Inoculants
Inoculants are silicon-based alloys used in the foundry industry to produce gray and ductile irons. In addition to silicon, Inoculants commonly contain elements such as calcium, barium, aluminum, lanthanum, and other rare earth elements.
